Building up to the 2020 CENSUS

We are excited to announce that we are one of the Massachusetts Census Equity Fund grantees! Building up to the 2020 Census, DSNI will be part of a cohort of organizations focused on increasing participation in communities that are at high risks of being under counted. The Census count, which will begin in April 2020, is a national population count. The Census is used to make critical decisions related to resource allocations across the country including but not limited to Section 8 housing, medicaid, medicare and public transportation.  

DSNI organizers, board members and volunteers will be spreading the word about the importance of the upcoming Census and preparing residents to participate. More information on how to get involved will be shared in our next e-mail and on our social media pages so be sure to follow us!
